Anushka is an actor and producer from Bollywood. She has won many acting awards and is one of the top-paid actors. Nush has also been an ambassador for various firms and also has her own clothing for women line. Forbes Magazine also featured her. Anushka Sharma was born on May 1, 1988 in Ayodhya Uttar Pradesh, India to Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma. Anushka was the daughter of a colonel who retired. and her mother works as a housewife. Karnesh Sharma is Anushka's older brother. He served in Merchant Navy, and is currently a film producer. Anushka has finished her education at the Army School Bangalore. She is also a bachelor of Arts from Mount Carmel College located in Bangalore. Anushka Sharma holds a Masters in Arts in Economics. Anushka was always aspired to become journalist or model, and never an actor. Anushka made the move to Mumbai after she completed her degree and was enrolled at Elite Model Management, and was groomed by fashion consultant Prasad Bidapa. Anushka was first spotted in 2017 at Wendell Rodricks Les Vamps Show. The show also asked her to model the Spring Summer 2007 of Rodricks. Anushka Sharma has been a part in several brand campaigns since she made her Lakme Fashion Week debut. This includes campaigns in the name of Fiat Palio and Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka began an acting course and began auditioning for movies alongside her modeling career. Anushka Sharma began her film career in 2008, playing Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. She starred opposite Shah Rukh Khan. She took one day to practice for the screen test, and was unable to do an impromptu version. Later on she was contracted for three films under the Yash Raj Films banner. She played a younger wedding bride to a middle-aged actor (Shah Rukh Khan) in the film. The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka appeared in the 2010 film "Badmash Company" alongside Shahid Kapoor Meiyang Chang, Vir Das. This movie was met with mixed review. Anushka appeared in a film called Band Baaja Baaraat with Ranveer, where she played the role of a middle class, who establishes her own wedding-planning company. It received a favourable review, and was considered to be a surprise to be a success. Anushka has completed her 3-film contract in partnership with Yash Raj Films after Band Baaja Baaraat.
